Building opportunity intelligence that more people can use.

Our commitment

Accessibility is part of the product process.

GovRadar is being designed and tested with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.2 Level AA, as an important reference. These guidelines explain how digital experiences can be made more accessible to people with disabilities.

Accessibility work is ongoing. We do not claim that every GovRadar page or feature is perfectly accessible or formally certified. Our goal is to identify barriers, correct them responsibly, and reduce the risk of accessibility regressions as the service develops.

Current practices

How accessibility is supported.

The following practices are incorporated into the current public GovRadar experience and its regression testing.

Keyboard access

Public GovRadar pages are designed so navigation, menus, links, and primary actions can be reached and operated with a keyboard.

Responsive reflow

Layouts are tested at desktop, tablet, and narrow mobile widths, including 320 pixels, without requiring horizontal scrolling for ordinary content.

Clear structure

Pages use headings, landmarks, descriptive links, breadcrumbs, and a skip link to help people navigate and understand the content.

Visible interaction states

Interactive controls are designed with visible keyboard focus indicators and states that do not rely on color alone.

Readable presentation

GovRadar uses responsive typography, sufficient color contrast, text spacing support, and layouts intended to remain usable when content is enlarged.

Ongoing testing

Automated and manual checks are used to identify accessibility regressions as public pages and product features evolve.

Known boundaries

Some content is provided by external sources.

GovRadar links to government procurement notices and other external resources. The accessibility of those external websites, documents, attachments, and source systems is managed by their respective owners and is outside GovRadar's direct control.

When GovRadar presents information collected from a supported source, the original government notice remains authoritative. Users should verify requirements, amendments, deadlines, and submission instructions through the linked source.

Accessibility feedback

Tell us if something is difficult to use.

If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please email contact@govradar.us. We will review the issue and work toward a reasonable resolution.
